As
Registered Accessibility Specialists with the State of Texas
Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR), we are able
to provide you with the following services for all publicly
funded multi-family residential dwelling projects, and all
publicly and privately funded commercial building projects,
as mandated by the Texas Architectural Barriers Act(Article
9102, Texas Civil Statutes).
Project Registration with TDLR
To help you prevent delays in the Building Permitting Process,
after you submit the required data to us for your project,
we instantly register your project on-line with TDLR, and
instantly provide you with a Project Registration Confirmation
Page to present to your Building Inspection Department as
proof that your project has been registered with TDLR, as
required by State Statute.
Plan Review for compliance to TAS
After registering your project with TDLR, we will perform
an in-depth, formal plan review of your submitted construction
documents. Within 5 to 7 work days, we will submit a computer
generated, printed plan review report to you on our thorough,
easy to understand checklist. If deficiencies are determined
in the plans you submitted, we will state precisely what the
deficiency is, and quote verbatim what is required by the
related TAS section to make the item compliant.
Site Inspections for compliance to TAS
When you contract with us to do the TDLR required site inspection
of your construction project, we will contact you or your
designated agent to make arrangements to schedule the site
inspection at a mutually agreeable time and date. We keep
project files in house for your projects when we performed
your plan review. This makes scheduling your inspection after
completion must faster and easier for you when you contract
with us to also do your site inspection. We use the same computer
generated, printed site inspection check list that we use
for plan reviews. If deficiencies are found during your site
inspection, we will state precisely what the deficiency is,
and print verbatim what is required by the related TAS section
to make the item compliant.
Consulting and Assessments for compliance to TAS
At no charge to you as our client, we encourage and actively
participate in telephone, fax, e-mail, and direct contact
in our office to answer your brief questions about your design
or construction concerns or issues that may be challenging
you in your quest for TAS compliance. We are available on
a fee basis to visit your office or site, or to discuss, assess,
or research more lengthy issues of your concern for TAS compliance. |
